Terms of Service

Welcome to NoTodo List. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NoTodo List application ("App", "Service") developed by George Huang. By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using NoTodo List, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

NoTodo List is a privacy-first, local-only task management application for macOS. The App allows users to:

• Create, organize, and manage tasks locally on their device
• Use tagging systems for task organization
• Set deadlines and priorities for tasks
• Access all features without requiring internet connectivity

3. Privacy and Data Storage

3.1 Local Storage Only

NoTodo List is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.

3.2 No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or process any personal information, usage data, or analytics from the App. Your tasks, preferences, and all other data remain entirely on your device.

3.3 No Account Required

The App does not require user registration, account creation, or any form of personal identification.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of NoTodo List, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and data
• Creating backups of your data as needed
• Using the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App

5. Intellectual Property

NoTodo List and all related materials, including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and other content, are the intellectual property of George Huang. The App is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use NoTodo List for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 "As Is" Basis

NoTodo List is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's functionality, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose.

7.2 Data Loss

While we strive to provide a reliable service, we are not responsible for any data loss that may occur. Users are encouraged to maintain regular backups of their important data.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall George Huang be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of NoTodo List.

8. Updates and Modifications

We may update NoTodo List from time to time to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add new features. Updates will be distributed through the Mac App Store or other authorized channels.

9. Termination

You may stop using NoTodo List at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. These Terms will remain in effect until terminated. We may terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.
